I remember this. I remember thinking “omg how could people do this to another human being?”

@singlemaltgirl I hv nothing to compare it to either but I’ve always like KB. I liked the 1st ep. I hv a 3 ep rule. I’ll give a new show 3 ep before I decide if I’m going to keep watching. For me, it’s enough time to feel out the characters!

@Zevon great 1st episode imo. She is amazing in every role I’ve seen her play. I’m excited for the next episode.

I never watched the original series. I wasn’t really interested. I MIGHT check it out after watching the new one. Only considered watching because of Kathy Bates!

Pretty sure I’m zone B. Dunno why the hell I can’t remember this year after year. I always end up having to google it. I should just make a sign to hang on my door so I don’t forget.

Weekend project idea…

Of all the streaming apps I have, Netflix knows me the least. Doesn’t matter that I always tell them when I hate, like or love a show I just watched. They always manage to recommend either shows I’d never watch or, shows I already watched. Smh.

My friend Lee posts this reminder twice a year on FB. Please share and check your smoke detectors. It’s a pain in the ass I know but it’s just minutes of your time that can save you, your family, and anyone else in your home should there be a fire.

Listening while I work. Less than 5 min in, shit has me sad. Come on now, I’m tryin’ to work here!!!

But one beloved adaptation totally flopped at the box office ...

You may not have know but The Shawshank Redemption was an infamous box office bomb when it was released in 1994 — grossing only $16 million in its initial theatrical run.
