Finally sat down to watch this movie last night. I knew it was going to be a tearjerker. It’s a story about 17 YO Haruna who has had a medical condition all her life and now, she only has 6 mo to live. Akito is a 17 YO boy who happens to meet Haruna on the hospital rooftop where she is sitting on a bench drawing heaven. She reveals her fate to Akito and he’s impressed that she is not afraid to die. 1/2

You don't need to give awful people explanations for why you think they are awful.
You don't need to give inhuman, selfish, evil people explanations for why you think they are inhuman, selfish, and evil.
Such people don't understand what they are and even when they look at themselves (if they even do) they don't see anything except that they are wonderful and it's everyone else who is awful.
Such people have no sense of accountability and absolutely do not want to hear anyone's truth.

@thewebrecluse It looked like an interesting show so I tried it. I’m always interested in new shows where the cast is mostly (if not all) POC. The usual shows get bland and sometimes I need something with more flavor in it. That’s why I love my Asian dramas and foreign movies. They’re just in a different enjoyable level that I can’t get from the usual stuff on TV!

@thewebrecluse @IronButterfly When I started to watch Empire, I saw Cookie and knew I knew her from somewhere. Had to look it up and that’s where I knew her from! Love her! Cookie was her own force to be reckoned with. I miss her.

Gonna breakup the political and sad posts for a pic of my little girl Miss Sadie. Found her on a rainy day March 2023. She was under my car and the rain was coming down really hard. I heard little mews outside and with the help of one of the community kids, I took her in. She was riddled with fleas, had a respiratory issue and an eye infection.
Here she is last night watching the rain come down from the safely of her home. Wonder if she’s remembering the day she was found?
