It’s 2216 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Vacation plans went awry a few days before leaving Tampa. My friend who was coming with me, booked her flight on Southwest and…well, you know what happened. She couldn’t get a flight to PR; everything was booked until after Monday so I came by myself. Not the same without her. So I’m hitting the hay now.

Celebrate hard but make good choices. Get home safe… ♥️

Wow. I stopped being a fan when she came out in support of TFG. I thought she was a horrible person after that. The things people are saying on Twitter are just awful. She had a big mouth but she was was harmless. I feel bad that she’s gone if only because it’s another person from my childhood that has died. I really did used to like her back in the day. In the last few years, not so much. R.I.P.

When I first started watching Jdramas back in 1992, you couldn’t find them online. Even if you were lucky enough to own a computer and have any internet. Japan is, a bit stingy when it comes to sharing their music and dramas but access has gotten better. I remember having to wait for English subs to become available so I could watch previous seasons’ shows. Jdramas we’re my introduction to Asian TV and I happened upon it by accident.

So, my goal for today's race was to finish under 50 minutes. My best time was just over 38 minutes but with 2 jobs owning 60 hours of my life per week, it's difficult to find time to run. Add to that that I sometimes feel no motivation to even go outside (thanks COVID) and that is why my time sucks now.

I'm so glad I had a great chip time today and I am now eagerly awaiting my next race on Dec 10!
