Tbh, ever since I moved to FL, I have not had a real Christmas. It’s too damn hot for sweaters or hot chocolate. I have put up a tree maybe the first 5 of the 18 years I’ve been here. It has never felt like Christmas here. *sigh* 😔

Same experience in LA. There's something VERY wrong about picking out a tree while you're wearing shorts and flipflops.

@BenA The weather is great and I love being able to enjoy the beach in Dec while I laugh at my NYC peeps bitching about having to shovel the snow to move their cars but tbh, I’d also give anything to have 1 day of snow during Christmas time just to have it feel like Christmas 😭

@NewYorkJellybean

I'm a winter person. I moved to the PA mountains and lived there for 25 years next to a ski resort to feed my snow addiction. Now I'm living in Portland where there are two seasons - hot summer for three months, followed by nine months of cold rain. I'm currently hunting for a condo in the Cascade Mountains so that I can have winters again.
