Today I watched a Russian conscript, captured by Ukrainian forces, later involved in a prisoner exchange, get field executed by sledgehammer at the hands of PMC Wagner Group on behalf of Putin, for the crime of being captured.

I couldn't possibly guess at actual numbers, but so many of these races are ultra-close that it's quite possible that the Republicans would have won several more of them—if only they hadn't spent the last two years literally killing off their own voters, by not advocating the most basic steps for public health in order to get on the "right" side of a stupid conspiracy theory.

It's as if they forgot a basic electoral fact: you have to be alive to vote.
