We can't keep whipping voters into a frenzy every other year to keep fascism at bay. We need to address the reasons fascism appeals in the first place.

The conditions in which fascism thrives aren't mysteries, nor are they as nebulous as "people are dumb." They're well-documented and can be eliminated through policy choices.
