My sympathies. I work with sociopaths (honestly). I had one approach me today and threaten me. But that's my job, to work with and try to help them. Some days, though, I want to quit.

I am considering making a leanto style greenhouse on the south side of a barn.

I need a greenhouse too. We’ve been at this home 5-1/2 years and STILL haven’t built a greenhouse! I miss my greenhouse!

I have not attempted to cultivate coffee. I think growing tea would be easier. The hardiest tea is hardy to one Zone south of me. It should be doable with winter protection.

Went out to feed before dawn. The ground is saturated and extremely muddy from melted snow and rain. More rain in the forecast, and it will run off - ground cannot absorb it. Not looking forward to it. ☔️

As for health as we age, you are still very young. You may have some health challenges here and there, but 35 is young.

In another 20 to 30 years you may find issues such as arthritis that plague you.

It is often helpful to challenge your insurance company’s arbitrary decisions.

It angers me that they do This routinely to patients. I have an advantage that most don’t: I am an attorney and I can threaten to make them my new hobby. They know most patients won’t go on the attack, so they get away with evil behavior. 🤬

Years ago my ins. company denied coverage for my cancer treatment, saying I could get it cheaper through a regular oncologist rather than my specialist. I called and demanded to speak to the ins. MD that made that determination. I explained to him that I would be suing HIM for malpractice, as he was making this health care decision without ever seeing me. I asked what exp the reg oncologist had with my rare cancer. I got my coverage.
