Thoughts? I’m sketchy about turning the fingerprint I’d & Face ID on on this phone...
@Evvie i ignore anything mentioning blockchain these days, personally. (i also don't like biometric security, for dystopian reasons)
i think some day it might be possible to vote on your phone. i don't think that time will be remotely soon - some places still don't have vote-by-mail.
@evistre I feel much the same about biometric security.
Being a criminal defense attorney, I tend to look at such things and then try to envision how they will be used nefariously.
Fingerprints? Those can be stolen via photos, replicated with a 3D printer ... or, the more sociopathic might just chop off your hand...
As for blockchain? Anyone who has that in their profile, who follows me on Birdsite gets blocked. 😸
