Just finished writing my donor family, the family whose loved one gave me my lung. I am drained emotionally. Havent cried this hard since doing my eighth and ninth steps.

Its difficult to not know the folks you are writing to- - especially on such a personal and emotional level

Bless you for doing this. That will bring the family some comfort, knowing that their loved one has allowed others to live. It's hard to open up to unknown strangers, but what an act of kindness.
