OK. I bought an inexpensive 12" laptop. Ebay. Brand new. 120.00. Win 10 freezes. Did two recoveries. Same problem. I cannot get my personal info off the pc, and thus dont feel right abt sending it back like that. I was offered 21.00 refund and I can keep the machine. NOT! Ebay has no resolution yet. I have had the pc since Dec 13. This is silly. They claim to not have a process for this situation. I call BS. They have sold pcs forever. Any creative solutions out there?

Wipe the hard drive with a large magnet to remove your personal info (and everything else) and then ship it back?
@Myrth Im a former certified HP tech. They told me to take it to a shop. I didnt need to (and wouldnt have) bc of that.
