Yeah. I no longer communicate with Cult members, even if we have some ties via DNA. I will not tolerate their racism, or their nastiness directed toward me. I am so many bad things, in their world view, an educated woman liberal feminist witch. So, rather than try to have a relationship despite their nastiness, I have pruned them from my life. Life is too short for hate.
@yogapaddlerun @carmahaz @Myrth I tend to stop wasting time on interacting with anybody that I cannot reason with. Family members are not exempted from this rule. I don't see why somebody should be magically exempt from the basic requirement to be a decent sensible person just because they're family. I am aware that this approach is jarring and possibly dangerous for some.

@Myrth Yeah but it’s my own grown child. I don’t tolerate but I could not bare to stop trying and never could stop loving. Beside the truth of my grand babies that need some other influence in their lives.

@Myrth @carmahaz It is so hard. The only family member I still have any contact with is my father. He shouldn’t be a Trump supporter if he listens to his core values, but got sucked in somehow and is regressing. And yes educated liberal women are a huge threat.
