@janallmac
Honestly the hamster doesn't know what that leading structure is called, but it is normal, with really large strong hurricane structure approaching land.
The Hamster will go ask the meteorologists what that structure is called when they come online and get back to you.
Our lead Broadcast Team Meteorology responded with.
"Those are just Thunderstorms"
Apparently, no one has named that structure anything.
The Hamster thinks we should give those types of structures a name of "Hamster Ball".
> "And as is usual with large powerful hurricanes, Milton is preceded by a Hamster Ball of Thunderstorms."
@MyRadar
Thanks Hammy! Stay safe. Hamster Ball of Thunderstorm. I tell you. As if hurricanes are not already obnoxious enough, they've got to do this also!
@MyRadar There's two storms! Am I hallucinating? Why is there a weird misshapen hurricane in front of the circle one?
