I am so thrilled to see this. Working with TRIO programs, the food insecurities I witnessed among my students made me want to cry. I even doubled my meals amount on my budget each year.. just so I could give a bit more to the kids.
This legislation expands access to free breakfast and lunch to students who would receive a reduced-price meal under the federal School Breakfast Program and National School Lunch Program.
