Do NOT, I repeat, DO NOT wait 3 months, or even 3 weeks to mow the lawn.
Especially after 3 inches of rain.
I hate house chores. Imma let my husband have that one.
Well, CapOne, surprises me again. They sent a letter stating their condolences on the loss of my mother, using her name. Stating that the accounts were closed and no authorized users would be able to use their cards. Should I have any questions, I can call the the Estate Planning department.
I may not always agree with their politics, but their customer service is top tier.
Thank you to them for making this transition a bit better.
I have a request. Someone, sorry cannot remember who, posted a small cartoon of a nurse taking to a patient who is lying in bed. She says "we need to draw blood, but we do it the natural way" (or something close to that). She's holding a cat.
I'd like to see & copy that for my Vet. Last time I was in I told them about it & they really want to see it as they have a bulletin board full of pet jokes.
Thanks very much in advance!
Got through mom’s memorial with little fuss.
It’s over. Now reality will come crashing in on me. I will finally realize that she is not coming home. Ever.
I will have to find other employment now. I could not see going back after 7months. It just didn’t fit.
Two more services to cancel. Then I should be done. As soon as I find out what the $68 charge that keeps trying to go through the closed bank accounts is for. Thought I paid everything. 🤷♀️
..paperless billing and online bill pay.
Customer service was EH. Then it was thank you for using AT&T. and while I was on hold, don't get me started on the getting through the bot, they tried to upsell me.
I may not even cancel my grandfathers account, and just let it go to collections. Go ahead and sue his ghost.
CapOne gets an A+ for having all the information needed to cancel a deceased loved ones credit/bank accounts. Ask ENO and they give you a link with a number to call, call the number and you only have to push one button. They tell you all the info you need to have; account number or social, date of birth, date of death. Super helpful, very kind.
AT&T-FAIL. You need to search high and low to find the number to call, then you have to have the 3 digit code on the account, good luck if they have....
Swear I want to start a Tissue Committee.
I come to your house after a loved one has passed and bring all the phone numbers and actions and things you are going to need to do.
Things that will happen. So you won't be surprised when SSA claws their money back for the month the person died in, then the bank freezes the account.
Got a financed car? Hope you have a POA. Because if you don't have access to the account, the finance company won't talk to you and the car could be repossessed.
Still have to do the water, but I have to go uptown to do that, and I didn't want to swim any more today.
Still haven't heard back from the attorney, but there is a bit of bat guano to sift through. Once that is done we can close out the investment account. Because that I a whole other department.
OH FFS!! Put a GD Beneficiary on your damned accounts. Once they have an effing Death cert, they can avoid all this shit in CA anyway. Just don't go to FLA according the the estate people at chase.
Came home and changed the edison bill, gas bill, trash bill, and tried to talk to the car finance people, but they were gone for the day, so I just changed the payment info so I don't have to worry about that for a month. Emailed the cell phone company. Talked to my aunt about pictures, found my mom's sketch book.
I am tired of looking through all my electronic devices for pictures of my mother.
I have been at it all day today.
My phone.📱
Her phone.📱
My facebook.📓 😜
Her laptop.💻
My laptop.💻
Compiling all these onto a google drive to share with the family, so they can add to it.
Imma go take a nap and work on it some more tomorrow.💤
It's been raining all day.🌧️
I can’t believe that this is my dog. Some days he just impresses me with his majesty.
I appreciate your follow, I probably won't follow you back though. :) Resident LUSH. Prefers Whiskey, but Rum will do in a pinch.
