'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the town,
Not a creature was stirring, in velvet and gown.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with flair,
In hopes that good fortune would soon be found there.

The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of laughter danced in their heads.
And I in my jester’s cap, with bells that would jingle,
Had just settled down, with my goat, named Kringle.

When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from my mat to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I leapt with a bound,
To find a mirthful sight that would soon come around.

The moon shone bright on the fresh-fallen snow,
Illuminating the scene with a silvery glow.
When what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a jester so merry, his laughter sincere.

With a twinkle of mischief and a wink of his eye,
He juggled and pranced, oh, how time seemed to fly!
And with him a goat, sporting bells on his throat,
Like a duo of magic, they danced and they wrote.

“Ho, ho, ho!” cried the jester, his voice ringing clear,
“In a world full of chaos, let’s spread holiday cheer!
For tonight is a night of such laughter and glee,
Bringing joy to the hearts of both you and me!”

He tossed playful pies and performed silly tricks,
As we all watched in awe, delighting in kicks.
The goat, with a grin, did a dance of his own,
Leaping and spinning, their presence well-known.

“Now, toss the confetti! Let’s celebrate joy!
Each cheer and each chuckle, for every girl and boy!
For the spirit of Christmas is found in our play,
So gather ‘round, children, let’s chase gloom away!”

The night filled with laughter, with courage and grace,
The jester and goat, bringing joy to this place.
As the clock struck midnight, and the stars twinkled bright,
They vanished with laughter, into the serene night.
5/?

Yet the jester’s sweet giggle and the goat’s merry bray,
Echoed through dreams that would linger and stay.
For on that fine Christmas, when magic took flight,
The true gifts of joy were shared that night.

So remember, dear friends, as the years come and go,
It’s not just the gifts, but the love that we sow.
With a jester’s bright spirit and a goat’s gentle grace,
We all can find Christmas in laughter’s embrace.

From that night forward, as the tale would unfold,
The laughter of the jester and the warmth of the fold,
Grew in every heart, every home, every street—
On that night before Christmas, where joy was complete.
