@MrGoat So when they mine for a bit it a number a specific number have I got that right? So What was the first bit number? Why don’t they just have a formula to the next one?I don’t get the mining part ?

@Oldguyaz The result of bitcoin mining is twofold. First, when computers solve these complex math problems on the bitcoin network, they produce new bitcoin (not unlike when a mining operation extracts gold from the ground). And second, by solving computational math problems, bitcoin miners make the bitcoin payment network trustworthy and secure by verifying its transaction information.

@MrGoat so I guess it’s more complicated than say a+ b x c = the number !How long or large is a bit coin number just curious !Had 3/4 of a bit but have sold off as it went up Think I have 3/10 now and am holding !Have one ETH and 300 Cardano that I bought low so am happy so far!But really don’t know what I’m doing kind of a game! This month I’m doing cheap drone stocks !Last month did Fisker XPEV F and added to my SOLO which I’ve had a long time!Because they broke ground on a new plant here !

@Oldguyaz I'd say keep eyes on the crypto and pull when you feel your gains satisfy. Most are holding out for huge gains over years I'd say but short term can be beneficial too. You can always hold some of your position and take profits to then go back in on a dip.

@Oldguyaz crypto is hard to explain, i would just read about it and how it works, coinbase actually explains some of the coins pretty well along with rewarding you with some free coins.
