I was reading my local voter guide and am amazed how many candidates are willing to go on record as “prefers Republican Party”.
Oh? So you like the lying, raping, stealing, voter disenfranchisement, racism, and cruelty? That’s your bag, baby?
I just hate when I change a spool, kick off a print job, and go to bed. I guess I can fix this with JB Weld or similar. Grr.

If you have a lot of batteries around and you’re not sure they’re living up to their specs, this kind of tester is really pretty slick. I’m presently testing an old motorcycle sized 12V lead acid battery that I had in a portable shortwave radio setup, and I think it got damaged from a severe drain. It’s supposed to be 9Ah, but I’ll know for a fact soon enough if it still is.
For the record, I typed “Jeez” and spell check decided I meant “Need”. I should just turn that shit off.
Need, I dunno Champ. Maybe if at 20 you’d been exposed to all different kinds of thinkers- Adam Smith, Kant, Locke, Nietzsche, and so on, you might at that tender age be wise beyond your years. We don’t all go at the same speed. Maybe the better message is “if you’re not still challenging your views at 50, it’s time to admit defeat”?
A strange thing happened around 3-4AM. I was hearing very low sounds that I couldn’t place. I thought I felt them just a little, but mostly I heard them about as low as my hearing goes. I got up, wandered the house- couldn’t make sense of it. The dog was apoplectic, and hiding.
I checked my seismograph, and lo and behold- there WAS something. I checked nearby seismographs to see if it was just at my place, and no- it was regional. I was hearing these seismic thumps. That’s a new one. You can see them in the chart below (from my seismograph, but virtually the same on nearby peers).
T-Mobile apparently doesn’t have the technology to prevent me getting repeated spam texts every day from Biden or Harris.

Interesting. I’ve been getting spam texts from Joe Biden and The Dem Party. I report them as spam, then reply “fuck off”, which they process as “stop”.
After having accidentally hit the extra buttons I NEVER want on the fucking FireTV remote, I’ve “upgraded”. Disabled and de-branded.

Seattle has an annual summer fair deal at the start of August (called Seafair) where the Blue Angels terrorize all the pets and PTSD people who might’ve just recovered from the 4th of July, and this year it’s sponsored by local joke, Boeing.
Shall we make odds on there being an aircraft part landing on attendees?
Man. The Instacart people really fucked this all to hell. I ordered steaks from the local fancy pants grocery store. I received sprouts, almond milk, gluten free cookies, weird mushrooms, Fuji apples, and healthy shit like that.
Somewhere I like to think that a cruelty free, free range vegan is horrified receiving some exquisite steaks and deep fried shit.
All going in the bin. So wasteful. So avoidable, if only people gave a shit about their work.
