Helped my son load firewood in his truck. We have these big piles from Trees Of Yore and his buddy's furnace has been toes-up for a week. Felt kinda of the season working out back in the snow.

For Cyber Monday, I ordered a pizza online. That's it. Pretty Cyber. Yeah, we Cybering.

Me (heading out on errands, car dealer voice): Yeah, this one's a beaut, owned by a little old guy, only drove to the post office once a week.

Her (sings): There was a little old lady from Pasadena...

Chorus: Go granny go granny go granny go

Every morning's thanksgiving if you're a cat. Eat till you can't hardly move then sleep for a couple of hours.

So dark and rainy out it's like the day is wearing sunglasses. The tall giants are nearly empty of leaves. The woods have gone dormant, a receding tangle of branches, faint in the distance, brown on gray like an old etching.

There was this weird band that was my fault. Yeah, I mostly play nice music now, but once upon a time there were the hillbilly aliens of drug pilots...

Gardening Tip:

It's insulated rubber glove season for outdoor work at our place. Mine get really grubby. I just realized that I can wear them and grab a bar of soap and scrub 'em up good in the sink and then they're not so gross.

Probably everybody in the world except me already knew this, but just in case.

Signed up for the pro version of CoSo so I could update my website and have a landing page. And also so I could chip in for upkeep on the little sociable village. Pretty nice place. Thanks for being so friendly.

I'm a little shy about my music, but let me try this strange soft thing out on you. It's called Cloud Forest.

Took the leaf blower and rake out to the cut-de-sac and cleaned up a vastness of leaves and needles. It's been record dry here, but rains are coming. Last year we had soggy leaf mulch 6" thick out there til about May.

Every USB and Thunderbolt adapter known to humankind except the one I need.

We had an arborist out to limb things up, and these two rotten alder trunks had to come down. Our son's been splitting them to bring to a friend. It looks bright in the photo, but it was very cold.

Neighbor with a chainsaw the other side of the woods, out of sight but not earshot. It's been dry, cold, and breezy. We've all got limbs down here and there.

Mikey-Sisyphus: (Stares up at Big Leaf Maples taller than some skyscrapers) Any chance we can stop with these leaves?

Hades: Keep at it and you might get 'em all raked by spring.

Mikey-Sisyphus: Um, there's like four acres of them. An hour or two and I'm wrecked.

Hades: Sucks to be you.

One of the neighbor lads browsing for lunch, unconcerned by my leaf blower.

I seem to be in a heavy George Michael phase atm. Not sure where that came from. Freedom 90 still makes me cry.
