First of all, wtf are you talking about 1998? This report was talking about U.S. evangelicals in 2014 providing resources to push through legislation to murder LGBTQ in Uganda. Now they're at it again in 2023.
The Church of England has nothing to do with this current legislation.
Two, Uganda is in East Africa, not West.
Three, evangelicals "say" a lot of things.
Get the context straight next time.
