I’m sorry I didn’t put the hashtag for politics on my posts today. I just get so worked up and sometimes forget. And again, I’ll try to do better going forward.

I think one of the most insane things I’ve heard is this:

My mom died 25 years ago and I still grieve for her.

Me: Shootings unfolding simultaneously right now in America: hospital in OK; Walmart in Pittson, PA; high school in CA; and in North Rialto, CA.

But please tell me how a hospital, a Walmart, and schools are Dem controlled areas. /end

I just can’t with this. I don’t even know how to get through and this is the Repub problem in a nutshell.

Me: There are shootings every single day. This is solely on Rs not banning assault weapons. As horrible as this is, I can’t help but feel that it bodes well for Ds in the midterms. People are pissed and they will vote.

Friend(?): While I agree with banning assault weapons, check your tea leaves. Most gun violence is in Dem controlled areas where violent crimes are also on the rise. Not sure how it's playing in swing districts, but economy will play more.

My 32yo son (he has Aspergers) lives with me. He needed to renew his driver license which I helped him do online.
Me: do you wanna be an organ donor?
Him: no.
Me: why not?
Him: what if I need those organs?
Me: they only take them if you die
