Good grief hot and humid.
Weeded the pumpkin/cantaloupe bed; cut dead branches from rhododendron, fertilized and watered it. Watered houseplants on front porch; and first harvest of garden!
Now doing cooler inside work.

Knitting friends -- decided to place my sleeve stitches on short cables with ends screwed on. It seems a secure way to proceed on my sweater.
Pros/cons? Suggestions? The large skirt pin clips don't stay closed.

It's 101 F and feels like 110. This is tremendously abnormal for early July in the VA Blue Ridge.
