Sometimes I think, "I should get out of the house"

And then open Google Maps and find nothing enticing enough
Sigh

When the person is unknown, I give my frames a title
Perhaps for this one from 1890 ish:
a. Oompa Loompa Boy
b. Hair Gel Tester
c. Cornelius Pompadour
d. ?????

Acquired yesterday from an antique mall in Peoria, IL
This one should perhaps hang in a barber shop
Starting a new hairstyle trend

The number of signs that say "Antiques" that people have for sale in antique stores/malls is quite high.

Somewhere, there is a very rich person who is painting all these and selling them to gullible people interested in antiques.

Reminder:
The holidays are not over until I finish the last carton of eggnog being used as creamer for my morning coffee

Occasionally, these old pictures remind me of someone I know
But it always seems too creepy to show them to that person

I'm old enough to remember when people used writing utensils and messed up the date for at least the first week of the year.

And when a new wall calendar from the local grocery replaced the old one.

Most people abandon their resolutions by the end of January.

So I am waiting to make mine until 2/1 so that does not happen to me.

Why isn't there a law that says you can only use the Supreme Court X times in your lifetime?

Let others have their turn.

"The motion of my blood no longer keeps time with the tumult of the world."
— Thomas Jefferson to James Madison, 9 June 1793

I think of this from time to time
It would have been good advice to follow when I was young

I'd play pickleball if I didn't have to go against other people
Competition gives me angst
Can't even watch it

Unknown woman in wonderfully old bubble glass

I LOVE the Pants cartoons
Some details sometimes take me a while to get
Look at the hair on these two

Flat rice noodles for soup were invented by a man who loved slurping sounds more than ANYTHING else in the world.

A jumbo 22x26 inch oak frame flea market find
Hopefully, it will now last a few more decades

Whoever decided that advent calendars with chocolate behind the doors should not be the full month of December is a jerk.

I attended the local German Christmas Market today
It was nothing to write Oma about
(German dad joke)

Has anyone else noticed that gravity is extra strong today?
It has been challenging for me to get up and do anything.

I blame the moon.
