It's that time of the year: time to close off the two main bedrooms to conserve cool air.
In the mornings, my room gets blasted with sunshine.
In the afternoons, the guest bedroom gets the full brunt of summer sunshine.
We're entering 100 degree weather starting tomorrow. Dry, desert furnace heat.

Something I completed before the Rite of Spring painting.
I call it Celestial Egg....and no, I don't know what it means. I was goofing around with pigments.

Finished another small batch of collages, too.

A Midsummer's Day (Sorry, Shakespeare!)

Finished the first version of The Rite of Spring: Dionysus, Persephone, and Gaia.

There may be two smaller explorations of the theme before I'm done.

I tried to contact a few galleries up in Santa Fe, but, as usual, what few replies I received were of the 'nice, but not for us' category. It's like genre fiction. They stick with 'New Mexico' art, which mine is not, unless you count some landscapes.

I might be preaching to the choir here, but...
Support old-school authors. AI is coming for us writers, too. Because of people (hacks) using AI to take short cuts in the creative process, the market is going to be super-saturated by bad AI fiction, including people like this yahoo, who basically uses AI to write rip-off after rip-off of Jane Austen.
