Out on the inflatble one day during summer. Saw something white floating in the water. Turned out to be a dead Banded Caspian Tern. Spent a couple hours trying to find who to report what I recovered. I received an email yesterday from the USGS, a thank you and a Certificate of Appreciation for taking the time to report it. Was told to dispose of it at the time. Just seemed wrong to throw it away like garbage. Took it home and buried in my Cat cemetery.

Actualy have not checked Gold value in a few weeks. I quit always checking since it varies by day, by minutes ar time.
Gold right now is $1909/oz, so that so called Tribute $50 gold coin is only worth .00045x1909 about .86 cents today.

I collect Gold. I have seen a commercial offering a Tribute $50 Buffalo14mg 24K Gold coin. The commercial states that you can get this coin for the low price of $9.95. Red Flag🤔
There are 31.1g in a troy ounce, so, divide 14 mg by 31.1 grams. A bit of math tell us the coin is clad in 0.00045 troy ounces of gold (0.014 / 31.1 = 0.00045016).
How much is that worth? Simply Multiply that number by gold's current price of $1,660/oz & you get $.747 That $50 gold coin is worth less than .75cents

Years ago I fought a 6 month battle because of Identity Theft. All worked out ok. I now have a Permanent Credit Freeze. It should be illegal for any business to require your SSN for anything. Computers are hacked on a daily basis. Once crooks have you SSN, they have your life. Ones SSN should only be used for, well, Social Security purposes. Or in my case, SSDI and Medicare. Nothing else.
I just found out I cannot set up a PayPal account without an SSN. Total BS😜
