One drawback about college football, if the opposing team is playing away, in this case, at UW Huskies in Seattle, the opposing team can whine about crowd noise and the Ref threatens with penalty yards against the Huskies. Bunch of whiney babies. That was long ago voted out of the NFL. Should go to a Seahawks game. Now that gets loud.

Not yet but.....Sometimes you have your phone close by to get a picture you might never see again.
Chubby White Cat relaxing😊

For all you Cat People,
on Netflix is a really good documentary: Inside the Mind of a Cat😸🤗

This from the CDC. The leading causes of death in the US. ER's are filled with people with chronic pain. I know all drugs cannot be legalized , it would be nuts to do that. But you cannot incarcerate the country's problem with drugs away. They should be decriminalized and treated for what it is. A chronic disease. Drug death's do not even make it to the leading causes of death. Tylenol-3 should be sold OTC to anyone over 21. Other drugs? Decriminalized

Taken from a textbook about drugs and addiction. Alcohol is a drug. It kills more Americans than all opiates combined. Yet it is legal. Glamourized, pushed on us by TV.
The opiate epidemic is complete and total bull💩

And by the way, if anyone tells you cannot get a buzz from methadone, they have not taken enough of it.
At doses of 100mg and higher, yes you do get high. You also run the risk of dying. But who thinks that when you just want to get a huzz🤔🤷‍♀️

Even if drugs were legalized or decriminalized I would never try heroin. Or Meth. I know and have seen the damage these drugs do to a persons health. But it would be nice if codeine was OTC like it is in Canada. I would not have to go to the doctor and be urine drug screened every 90 days so I can get my codeine sulfate for osteoarthritis and degenerative disk disease.

To show just how screwed up Americas Draconian Drug laws are.....Gambling is an addiction that destroys and bankrupts people lives. Now that online gambling has become legal, there are commercials on TV for betting on games. Yet, opiates OTC are banned. Why? Both can be detrimental to ones health and welfare. What makes gambling any different? F*cking American drug laws😜😛😝

Found this going through a box of pictures. 35mm. Digital cameras were around then but were prohibitively pricey. Scanned to PC. Not the best image. I had just turned 24 a couple months before. Still have my Navy haircut.

and to re cap @Render analysis and reporting....

Today is the start of NFL🏈
Yay🤗 Besides the days losing about 3 minutes per day of sunlight, this time of year brings 4 months of pro and college football👍🤘 And rain. A damp/wet forest is less likely to burn.

Something to consider, each year over 1,000,000 Americans die from obesity related health issues. Heart disease caused by fatty greasy foods, diabetes because of all the added sugar in our foods and overdosing on carbohydrate laden processed foods. So, that is more than 10 times more deaths than opiate caused deaths. Why is sucrose, fat and carbs not banned? Silly? Yes. The point is that opiates are less likely to kill you than all the processed foods we eat on a daily basis.

The whole so called Opiate Epidemic is BS. It is not Tylenol 3 or Vicodin or even Opium that is killing people. It is Fentanyl and the different analogues of Fentanyl. It is one totally synthetic opioid causing the issue. Too much Fentanyl is being used to bulk up low quality heroin. Yes one does get very high but then one dies within seconds.
It is NOT all opiates killing people. Just 1.
