I just cannot seem to get slapping. Les Claypool is one of the best Bassist.

@MallyDaKatt Went to school for jazz and played around 12 hrs/day for 4 years. You get pretty good with a 5-string hanging off your shoulder for that amount of time. Life went in a different direction and my chops are long gone… 👎🏼
@IrishTuxedo I do not think you lose your chops, just get rusty. Muscle memory is always there.
I tried a 5 string. Not coordinated enough. Strings to close together. At least for me anyway🙄🤷♀️
