This is pretty cool. They are constructing swimming pools inside of Lucas Oil stadium. The Olympic trials are being held in Indy this year. Its a fascinating process.

When the reality hits….
My childhood home is on the market. Thankfully we took the kids for a visit in November, but my bro moved out last week and its listed now. First time since 1922 that my family has no base of ops in NYC. I’m thankful that it was all good times. I grew up in a loving household with nurturing parents and cool older brothers. I miss it. I miss Coney Island and the beach. My folks welcomed 8 grandkids and 5 great grandkids thru that door. This is what bittersweet means, eh?

How funny to hear Merrick Garland saying on the public record what we've all been saying about Ticketmaster for decades.

These “expert” lists always crack me up. I think they are oppressive. But I can’t recall ever seeing a “top 100” album list, even one that crossed genres, that omitted Sgt. Pepper.

🎧 Maita, "Best Wishes". New-to-me Portland OR based artist. Maria Maita-Keppeler writes songs that i can only describe as "extremely cool". She's got a beguiling voice, and she's got a flair for noir Americana. I've been digging in to her back catalog and it's all great. New album dropping in July. Good stuff.
