I envision a spinoff series that follows the next 72 hours of those people's lives to hilarious, and deadly, consequences. Yes, it's a murder-comedy.

A few weeks back a local band went through the inevitable baptism by fire and got completely fucked over by a shady promoter. They recorded a song about it almost instantly. It's short and very very funny.

His vocals were always a point of contention for me. Even when he first joined the band - his live performances, I thought, were crap. It all sounded like one big loud high pitched vowel movement. I last saw them live on Mangini's first tour and I loved it. I have a funny story about Charlie Dominici i have to tell you sometime - I'll DM you.

They REALLY lost me with The Astonishing. I loved Mangini's playing too but that album was not....good. I was apprehensive about Portnoy's return, but this new track checks all the boxes. And Labrie sounds fantastic.

I hadn't watched or even paid attention to baseball in almost 20 years. I was a Mets fan when I lived in NYC (I was at the famous Billy Joel concert in 86 at MSG when he held up the beginning of the show until the Mets-Astros game 6 was over). A friend of mine called me during the end of the season and said "are you seeing what the Mets are doing?" and I said I wasn't. He said "you have to come back to Mets nation, this is the Miracle Mets 2.0". It's been a joy to watch.
