We talk to our kids about everything. Adults are stupid. There's no sense talking to adults. But our kids and their friends are still open minded enough to consider opposing viewpoints. We ask our kids "What did you and your friends talk about in school today?" "Are there uncomfortable conversations going on that you want to navigate?" We are always encouraging them to push back on extreme right-wing ideals because at their age, facts still matter, and can change minds for the better.
