I still love her and she still loves me.

Its a lot to explain but long story short I got to MC a show tonight with one of my all time favorite bands headlining, and playing a rare acoustic set at that. I played it cool when I met them, you know, “whats up gents” and all. But inside, I was 16 again, barely maintaining my composure, trying to maintain. Kali Masi is a VERY important band to me, and just seeing them play in this intimate setting was so cool. But introducing them and bringing them to the stage….fucking unforgettable.

I’m in Vegas baby. Can you guess what our airbnb host’s favorite tv show is?

I don't buy a lot of vinyl - when a great band like Pinkshift puts out something akin to a work of art - it's worth it, if anything to support the band. It will probably never even touch a turntable.

Somebody tell me again how this conflict, now entering it's second century, is about land, a temple, or a desired state. Tell me again that it's not about good old hatred of my people. You know what would happen if the world turned around tomorrow and said "here you go, here's a Palestinian state, rich with fertile soil and the freedom you have always deserved, will you leave the Jews alone now"? I'll give you one guess....

🎧 Rush, "Red Stars (Playlist)". I'm a big music nerd and RUSH was my introduction into the world of prog. All the guys I hung out with in HS were into them and I just didn't get it. Then one of the older guys played Moving Pictures for me and it just clicked. I'm rocking a playlist of mostly "latter day" tracks from the post 80's era. I miss the "boys" very much.

🎧 The Rolling Stones, "Between the Buttons (UK)". Full disclosure, not a Stones fan. Deep respect, of course, and acknowledgement of their gigantic contribution, but never my cuppa. I think Keef is a shit guitarist, and Mick has zero emotional depth as a singer, but hey he's got moves like...himself. Bill Wyman just plain sucked. Every so often I need to hear or see something to re-educate or remind myself why I hold a particular opinion on it. I never got the Stones.

🎧 A delightful to all the naughties!

Getting things started with these two.

Sincere Engineer - "Cheap Grills"
Bleach Lab - "Lost in a Rush of Emptiness

Hope your day is filled with music and/or whatever brings you joy. Cheers, all!
