In the car this AM with 14, listening to the Beatles channel. Outloud, I started improvising a scene where Paul McC was still showing up at Peter Asher's old house asking the current tenants if he could use the piano. And the current tenants reluctantly let him in, gave him tea, and got on with their day. 14 says "dad you should write for tv". In 6 words, he reminded me of a long forgotten, unrealized dream of mine.

I greatly appreciated the compliment and told him so. My internal dialog was in full "self-loathing failure/defensive" mode - "Hey if I was a TV writer I'd be on strike and you'd be eating ramen three times a day!"
@LnzyHou @MPCavalier Do it! Write the book! Write the script! Set yourself free! You can do it! In another reality you already have written it! Make it so! 💗💗💗 (PS I wrote my 1st book in 2019, a goal I had set to publish my first book when I turned 50)
