@MLClark I hate MATLAB so much.
If you'd like to keep your sanity intact, I'd suggest picking a statically-typed language with fewer screwball design decisions.
Dynamic typing is the devil if you're trying to write anything complex because it makes things a lot more confusing than they need to be and makes it WAY easier to introduce bizarre bugs... plus MATLAB is loaded with inconsistent/weird behaviours that dramatically exacerbate the issue.
@MLClark I LOVE MatLab. Any time I want my Fortran to run 100 times slower I rewrite it in MatLab...
