I think my version of hell would be an emotional torture skit that keeps hanging, with a Task Admin window popping up each time to show me that I'm maxing out Hell''s CPU, Memory, and Disk Space. Every time, a demon would emerge to try to fix things. Every time, I'd shout "It's Antimalware Service Executable!" And every time the demon would hum, haw, and tap the screen, saying, "No, see, it's only at 2.8%", while the torture program keeps stuttering on.
Apropos of nothing. π π
Going for a walk!
@MLClark You ok buddy?
I will be in a second. Going out to touch grass. There might even be rain! π€ How are you? You've been in my thoughts lately. Are you doing okay? Vibing with your routines?
@MLClark Struggling a bit with my eating lately but overall I'm doing pretty well. I'm making good progress in my current novel, really getting into a vibe with it which gives me a lot of joy.
Oh, I'm so glad! Sometimes time away from a project really helps you find your focus for it.
Eating is such a vulnerable part of our lives. I'm struggling with my own, too. I keep reminding myself not to be *upset* with the fact that I'm struggling, but to observe the struggle as data my body is giving me. Right now, stress hormones are making food tough - so getting stressed *about* stress hormones won't help.
π€ Hope you have so much kindness for yourself when struggling too.
@MLClark I am... a work in progress on that front. But the story is going well. I came at First Tier Sorcery from another angle, and its clicking into place.
I'm excited for the holiday, spirit family will be visiting, and it should be a nice but quiet celebration of life and light. ^_^
How do your holidays normally look where you are?>
Oh, I'm so glad you've got a bright, if quiet festive season ahead. π May the presence of your spirit family be nourishing in the best of ways.
I have a very quiet season lined up for myself. I'm going to focus on finishing the novel mostly, to start 2024 with a thread of hope for better publishing futures.
But! I'm also baking a cake for the office I'll be working at tomorrow, so I find excuses to spread joy no matter what.
π€ Take good care of your dear heart, please & thanks!

Good programmers go to Heaven - so long as they didn't aid and abet genocide or the downfall of democracy / humanity with their code.
Bad programmers get job offers in Hell.
That's all I'm saying. π
