@silent_dystopia @DMArt55555 Oh wow, that's amazing, you truly feel music more than we the hearing think we do. The Cure...Robert Smith writes incredible lyrics, but the actual music is so unique. From Love Cats and Let's Go To Bed I was struck by their music. I love it dearly. Like Bauhaus, The Cure are in a class by themselves.

@LaMarghe It was so beautifully done. Bowie was amazing, perfectly cast in it. Everyone was. I remember my first time seeing it, I was in awe. I think was 15 or 16 then. I had lived Bauhaus and Bowie for years at that point and it just was everything I had imagined and so much more. I must say, nothing comes close to it in my mind. Every vampire movie since has disappointed me. My daughter was really in to twilight so I had her watch the Hunger and it blew her mind!

@DMArt55555 They really were unique and never fit any genre. People tried to lump them with the bat cave scene which became goth. They were in their own world. 40 years later and I still listen to them for hours. Peter Murphy's voice and lyrics just hypnotize me.
