Yeah, there's no need for Cat 6 or 7. by the time Cat 5 arrives mountains are razed, trees are stripped bare and only stone or concrete structures remain standing, although their windows and doors are blown out from the wind and the water has pushed your belonging out in the storm surge.

Example: Hurricane Maria was a cat 5 that reached gusts of 200mph, had a storm surge of 20+ ft and killed over 3,000 ppl in the carribean.
