Nearly three in five Americans wrongly believe the US is in an economic recession, and the majority blame the Biden administration, according to a Harris poll conducted exclusively for the Guardian"

Media failure. Here's another poll where people who mostly think they are doing fine, but everybody else is not doing fine, and this time, they also think our growing economy is not growing,

Democrats need to get their messaging fixed. Sell the reality.

So far all of the 21st century has been a non-stop media failure - from the tan suit to the Cheney-Rice mushroom cloud scare to the email lady and then no questions when a lunatic claims to know about virology. Now Nazis are just people with a different view of things. All Republicans do is break things and yet the media paints everything as a problem for Dems in November. I agree that Dems need to do better with the message and maybe spend less time comparing ad dollars spent.

@Sr0bi The media is a huge part of the problem, but it does look like we have failed more generally to have a well-informed citizenry.

So the media failing to fact check anything whatsoever is somewhat academic because the public can't tell the difference anyway? Then the battle is already lost.
