Give it time. Wait for the fog to lift. Hold the hot takes. Do some self-care in the meantime.

I don't celebrate assassination attempts, or regret them when they fail, no matter how horrible the target was. Not because it 'looks bad' but because human beings are still human, even when they are bad people, and because a climate of violence in which killing people is celebrated ultimately hurts all of us, innocent as well as guilty.

Somebody said I mostly post things that are obvious; I think the above is, in my opinion, the most obvious of them all.
