Many places sent aid, including the city of Boston who sent doctors, nurses, medical supplies, food, and blankets.
Halifax sends them a Christmas tree every year to commemorate our long history.
The city rebuilt. But the scars can be seen. An anchor that blew to the other side of the city. Houses that survived next to those that didn’t. Memorial bells at Needham.
