My daughter has a small rainbow striped suitcase. Not that it matters, but it was my wife's Rainbow Brite suitcase from when she was a kid.

Had a family member ask "Why does she have a pride suitcase? Should she really be carrying that around?"

I was left speechless. This is why I hate family gatherings. I mean I'm glad I know now, but JFC how long has that hate/fear been simmering...

Funny story about my Mom.
Driving in my pickup, my 86yo Mom as passenger. State trooper pulls behind me, lights rolling & we pull over to side of the road.
He gets out, comes up to my window while I'm looking for my insurance card.
He's short.
Really short.
Hi chin barely reaches my window sill.
He must've said something I missed & said loudly "Did you hear me?"
My Mom casually leans forward and says, "If you would stand up, we could hear you".

I died.
I miss her.
Now you know where I get it.
