I woke up this morning thinking about what the Russians are doing to the Ukrainian people. I imagined what it would be like to have Russian monsters rip my children from me, and fear what they would do to my children. It’s too much pain. Way too much pain.

The UN/NATO must find a way to expel Russia. America needs to do even more to help (I’ve said this from the start) the Ukrainian people.

Thankfully, I have to bake all day.

I just want to say that if you’re being dismissed by your doctor(s), then keep going to new doctors until you find the one who will truly help you. They are out there. They’re often hard to find, but they’re out there. I found a gyn yesterday who is going to help me. In fact, she may have saved me. The hormones my VA gyn put me on were raising my blood pressure. I just went off them, and now I’m enduring the sudden adjustment, but rooting for my cardiovascular system to recover. Never give up!!!

I wasn’t going to work at all today, but I finally solved our Google problem. Whew!! We’ll exist again in 24-48 hours.

We should all encounter puppies in our daily lives a lot more often. I say this because that’s exactly what happened to me today (someone was walking by with his brand new 8 week old golden retriever fluffy puppy - and I stopped them). I was exhausted and in a really bad mood before bonding with the puppy, and I’ve felt better ever since the puppy.

We need more puppies out and about (with their humans, of course, not loose and alone).

I don’t want to do my day anymore. I will because I have to, but I don’t want to.

Google is on my last nerve. I tried to change our address on our business listing, and it became a giant time sucking headache. 🤬 I’ve also been dealing with GoDaddy, and I just plain abandoned Square (can’t get through to a human).

Dear Internet: I have other things to do to run a business, so just do what you’re supposed to do the first time! 🤬

Trump’s besties…

I just ate a piece, and I’m close!! Now it’s just a matter of finesse. It rose all the way through, it’s not dry, and it tastes like chocolate, not sugar. Yay! I just need to make a few minor changes to get the texture where I want it to be.

It rose!!! I’m so nervous! I won’t know for sure if it worked until I cut into it.

Fingers crossed this works!! I’ve been working on coming up with the best chocolate cake, and I finally wrote my own recipe from scratch (I read a baking chemistry book, etc.). I have the icing down, now this cake has to be what I’m going for!

I’m watching the US Open, and I’ve decided they need to have a New Yorker, preferably from The Bronx or Staten Island, call the score. 😂
