Good fuckin idea.

I think we kinda need this sort of thing for a lot of problems people face, because not everyone is good at research or critical thinking.

Sucks, but maybe we need to reevaluate how we present info to the masses.

Oh, hey, it’s science Communication! That’s it! We need better SciComm.

The article has good advice for all of us, including folks who are not parents--we need to stay connected somehow:

"Dr. Schoppe-Sullivan suggests parents talk with their children, help them connect with friends and focus on what's truly important, even if that means, temporarily, easing up on things like healthy eating habits or school work, in order to preserve family relationships."

Thank you for sharing this article, it opened up a topic that has been overlooked. I sometimes hear Trump raise the issue at his briefings but he’s quickly dismissed. I surmised that someone had discussed suicides during the pandemic in their closed sessions w/him.

TY, I’ve requested the article be shared w/our local county government and also with the school district’s psychologist. 🙏🏼

Mental health is often overlooked, in part because of the stigma, but needed more than ever.

I wanted to take some time to get my thoughts together, about this.

Today will be the last of my postings on the topic of children and schools. I first want to say thank you to all for the engagements I have received and I hope that the information has been substantive, informative and perhaps eye opening.
