This is an excellent way to sow even more discord and violence and distrust between populations in the US. By doxxing huge numbers of cops (both former and current) it puts a target on all of their backs.
And they know it.
So they will be even twitchier than before, and we all know how twitchy they were even before the protests.
And less scrupulous left extremists and right extremists will descend on them.
It’s intERnational politics /using/ intRAnational politics to weaken the US.
What really irritates me is, this doesn’t even go after cop misconduct.
It’s money and investigations.
At best, it can reveal embezzlement. But at the cost of outing loads of informants and undercover cops, and warning criminals who might not realize they’re being investigated.
Aka it fucks with the few legitimate cop activities and not much else.
