@Museek I just got my voter information. I saw that the opposition to 34 was the support of 33.
@artemis "Having all the information you need at your fingertips will make us a utopia."
As someone who has been on the internet since the early 90s, I fell for this. And, for a while, it was true. But human nature and bad actors weren't banished, and they soon took over.
"On October 23, 1983, Hezbollah, a group that was then known as Islamic Jihad, carried out a terrorist attack on the U.S. and French barracks in Beirut, Lebanon. The attack killed 299 people, including 241 U.S. service members, 58 French paratroopers, and six Lebanese civilians. The bombing was the deadliest single-day attack on U.S. Marines since the Battle of Iwo Jima in 1945."
But let us mourn for them today.
@Vilamundi Oh, thank you. A book I will have to add to my list for my book club at work.
Ain't nobody got time for that.
I remember when βStayinβ Aliveβ was a catchy song, not a goal.
@elbutterfield Oh, I've lost my guilt in blocking people with whom I've interacted who turn out to be shitwads. My health is paramount.
@elbutterfield I prophylactically blocked a person on here who said that Israel randomly blew up people. Lord.
@elbutterfield A hug to you. A strong one.
@MPCavalier Fortunately, divorce is easy in Islam. @elbutterfield
@elbutterfield Very much so. When you see something outrageous from me, 100% of the time it's sarcasm.
@elbutterfield Oh, just stuff I've seen on the web bemoaning the Hezbollah fighters who had their dicks blown off.
