So local news is doing a story about a guy with gang affiliations who, as a passenger during a traffic stop, pulled a gun on and shot at police. Police shot back and he was put in custody. HOWEVER, his hospital bill for injuries sustained during arrest (bullet wounds) is now being charged to tax payers. The bill was already negotiated in half to 1/4 mill.

To have to pay for the hospital bill of a gang member in custody who shot at police. Is that weird?

I can't be the only one browsing Netflix at someone else's house and judging them and their recommendeds based "because you watched"...

Every episode of Lethal Weapon just makes me want a new Major Payne movie.

I could watch the video of Mamoa and company doing the Haka at the Aquaman premiere on loop until my eyes fall out. Love those islander war dances.

So Familia is back with the Mets. I was overjoyed when we traded him to Oakland last year. I didn't find him to be a consistent closer and thought he lacked intensity in losses, saying things like "I know I did the best I could, so I don't have a problem with any of it".

But now he's back...as a set up man for Diaz...with hopefully a better offense. With any luck, my developed dislike was simply a casualty of a poor line up and poor bullpen positioning.

Mets threatening to trade Syndergaard/Nimmo/Conforto for a catcher is giving me heartburn. With Thor, rotation has 4 strong starters. Nimmo and Conforto are your starting OF.

Rosario, I can deal with. Why? We have Gimenez as a top prospect. May or may not make an impact this year, but the dude can learn from Frazier, Cano, and a veteran SS to bridge the gap.

Just buy talent the necessary remaining talent.

Loving how BVW said he didn't listen to Omar Minaya when he said to take things step by step at the Winter Meetings. Go after it and leave the other teams in the dust. His other comment about not sleeping a lot is actually promising. I've noticed little sleep is a trait of successful people (which is why my body prefers 9 hours...).

When a movie like A Star Is Born builds so much momentum as an oscar favorite, I am intrigued.

Then I watch and oh dear god is it depressing. My desire to not be spoiled shows me a movie I really didn't need to see.

How dare Kevin Hart say horrible things 8 years ago, become a successful comedian, co star with The Rock more than once, and then put his hat in to host the Oscars when no one else would.

It's ridiculous that it's only getting complained about now. Clear sign to me that someone waits for the host to be announced and then digs through their Twitter. This continues to be a horrible trend.

Well hi there avengers 4 trailer. I still think you should have been a highlight reel of all the films until now, but this was fine too.

What he said was stupid. But the idea that some people, after seeing a celebrity receive an opportunity, immediately go to Twitter and search that person's timeline for keywords is ridiculous. Why now? Why not when he was out on press for a movie or stand up?

His words are frustrating but so is the idea of someone digging because he got the Oscar gig. James Gunn all over again.

Get to schmooze at a company function tonight. Schmoozing sucks.

I never get more down votes on Reddit than when I say something on the Mets sub about potential roster moves. I think I make sense...

Mets better not trade Conforto/Nimmo. Nimmo is the heir apparent to Wright. Conforto right there with him. Trade away Rosario and get a veteran SS to platoon with Gimenez. Cano there as well for help on the field and in position.

If we were aggressive for Diaz/Cano in that we wanted to beat Philly to the deal, I can totally see it happening again. Gets the talent while also directly effecting NL East standings.

Captain Marvel trailer was better than the last. Glad it establishes Kree and Skrull. Can't help but feel like there is something missing though.

They wouldn't have to release a trailer to get my money though. That's forgone.
