In this political climate, has anyone asked friends or family which way they plan to vote-knowing which way they lean, but hoping they're "smarter than that" and subsequently getting mad?

I think I developed allergies a couple years ago after going down a 100 ft slide in a mud run that ended in pond water. Drop off was right after a turn. Blind sided and it just shot right up my nose. Sinus infection.

This is all to say allergies still feel new to me and are super annoying... especially when I first wake up and one nostral is ceiled up.

I go from nosebleeds to congestion, fall/winter to spring/summer.

Anyone have scooters available as public transit in your city? What are your thoughts?

Started watching The Detour on Hulu/TBS. Got to an episode at a Santa's Village type place.

They have a stand off scene. The guy previously determined to be a gun guy is the only 1 who ends up firing....& it's into his own foot.

Now from the onset of his character, I eyerolled the politics of it all.

But after he shoots himself, they cut away & circle back to a geyser of blood coming from his foot.

I can't stop laughing. Even moreso when I wonder what's wrong w/me where that's my funny bone.

Nimmo can't even do baseball activities for another month. It's never just one thing with us. And sure, there could be a second half surge like 2015 and 2016...but sometimes there is simply too much weight piled on too early to satisfactorily recover.

Harder to see a viable alternative to a full rebuild...but that'll still find a way to get screwed up. Why? There's really only been one constant since our last world series win: Fred Wilpon.

Hopefully this toot doesn't age well, but there are fleeting moments when I envy non sports fans simply because they never face the possibility of year after year disappointment supplemented by reassuring Kool aid in the off season.

I learn to love every year's roster & determine them to be more than worthy or deserving of a World Series ring...which gets really sad when it goes unearned & someone gets traded away or lost to free agency.

Just keep telling myself it'll all b worth it THAT year.
