Bah, killed by Harper and Stevenson.

Oh well. Didn't expect a sweep, but hate having a "must win", which is tomorrow's game.

14 games to go.

And JD just got robbed of a home run. Straight up glove keeping the ball out of the Phillie bullpen. Hate it, but those plays are tough to really hate.

Harper, with a 100+ AB drought of no homeruns, singlehandedly brought the Phillies back in with two homeruns.

And then the Phillies got another two to take the lead in B7...an inning that still needs another out with two on.

They say that when a team is hot, things happen.

RBI triple on a ball deflected off the glove of 2B and rolling allllll the way to the wall.

4-0 Mets T3.

Mercifully over. Though less merciful for the Mets. Phillies have plenty of wiggle room, so a loss to start this battle of seven match ups in the remaining 16 games of the season is acceptable. Onto tomorrow!

Mets have walked three and there are two outs. Five batters to get to the tying run.

No one will be shut out in Philly tonight. Phillies down by eight with one out remaining.

Roger's son, Kody, a native 1B, is now pitching for the Phillies.

He got two pretty quick outs on pitches that... weren't quite Rocket speed. Then he gave up a home run.

Yes, the Phillies have punted in the 9th.

We scored a singular run at some point, but just got the third three run home run of the game. 10-0, B8!

The right teams won tonight, and the right teams lost. Snakes, Phils, Braves all went down. Who won? You know. One up and half back.

I love how often I see our pitchers get into the seventh. Feels like such a rarity. Even in the deGrom days, he fell off fast in the fifth or sixth.
