@Render too many people here (in the US) want us to be the world police to fix all the wrongs.

There's a lot wrong in this country, but the 400+ (Honor guard too) that showed up to a Vietnam veteran with no known family's funeral in Omaha today (2pm on a Tuesday) shows that bright spots exist.

@th3j35t3r I was thinking that he might make an appearance at the border at the very least...but knowing someone who was recently forced to guard duty for the caravan, I have my doubts many would have been interested in his appearance.

Knocked out Target in 21 minutes and change. Then GameStop in about 90 seconds (no reason for them to have opened at 6...). All in all, I was out and back in under an hour.

It's the doorbusters that make these sales apocalyptic. Show up an hour after opening and you cruise.

@espyonage in their GM search, I think the Wilpon's said (or it was at least reported as a reason?) that they didn't go with Melvin was because of the negative reaction it would have received. BVW is a nice change, but I think most would have preferred Bloom.

If the Mets pay attention to social media like they claim to, the last few days of reaction to the Syndergaard trade rumors should tell them to take out an insurance policy on Citi Field because that place will burn if he's dealt.
