tfw you impress the IT guy by knowing what a VGA cord looks like.

The things that he must deal with to be impressed by a customer with THAT knowledge...

To clarify: he lost perfection in the 9th.

Royals' Lopez loses his perfect game by walking the lead off. Poor kid.

However, I'm not wholly upset by his lost attempt. Nice to see the host crowd showing respect though.

I might still be salty from 2015...

@th3j35t3r digging into people's tweets from 4-10 years ago isn't even 3 months old yet and social media has already out done itself with this.

Obviously this has it's origins in 2017, but this resurgence is so dumb. Actually glad for Vox here.

When Hulu figures out where you live and plays a commercial sponsored by the local college team that everybody but you worships.
?

Recently started binging The Goldberg's on Hulu. The casting for some parts (Adam's best friend) and the shot for shot home movie renenactions are the definition of perfection.

Boyd/Albert Ice Cave. Psyched to find a cave out here that just had advisories and no required permits or charges. With my hiking boot induced blisters and wife no longer wanting to crawl on her stomach or all fours, we didn't quite make it all the way to the end.

If anyone has pics of the end, would love to see!

This hike reminded/taught me why I prefer hiking in sandals (chacos) to boots. While boots provide extra ankle support, each step is heavier (particularly noticable on inclines that gain such elevation) and they are breeding grounds for blisters.

Two days of hiking in sandals and not one blister. Hike one trail one morning in boots and both heels lose layers of skin. Never again.

Sure I could use a brace, but dusty sandals/feet are a badge of honor to me. (Photo withheld, you're welcome)

Also found this view of (what seems like) every mountain in Oregon, north of Bend.

Climbed a mountain, found the lake that winter ice/the glacier melts into.

I meant to do a thread of pics... suppose I could as well, but my timeline will also act as such. Proxy Falls, which were a huge surprise and absolute stunning. Comparable to Bridal Veil Falls in Spearfish, SD and Fairy Falls in Yellowstone.
You can hike right up to the base of all three and part way up the right side of all of them...I have done so.

@Call_Me_Kim You'll find the trail head if you take the loop. Not a long hike.

@Call_Me_Kim area is fantastic. Depending on how outdoorsy you are, if you go to the Observatory, hike the Proxy Falls Loop trail. Absolutely incredible.

Never expected to be in such awe of lava fields, but here we are.

@_R_ No problem! My profile says I like to travel so I figured I should post about it!

This was popular! Here's another-
It's weird: to me Crater Lake feels like hidden gem despite being a National Park. Some of the most pristine (yet very cold) waters in the US. Not a place you expect such clear, blue water. Getting out is a beast though. Side winder trail with STEEP inclines.
