@Kurtroedeger Not for today, but weekend... I'm planning a medieval moose stew and beer stewed onions.

And possibly a chicken on a roasting spit. 😁

@Kurtroedeger I slice like a 4-6 large onions, and start sauteeing them in butter.

Then pour over a dark lager or a stout, depending what I have.

Adding salt, pepper and dried herbs like thyme and rosemary, and let it simmer for 2-3 hours until it becomes almost jammy in consistency.

Great as a side for roast beef etc.
