Went for an updated hearing test last week so I can get my aid reprogrammed. It's been a while. I asked how much prior to coming in case insurance doesn't cover it because insurance is stupid about hearing loss.
The told me $75 for the hearing test with a printout of the results so I could send it with my aid to be reprogrammed. But they'd put it through insurance first then bill me if not covered
Just opened a bill for $464.

@PurpleDragon I asked ahead of time because of the last place I dealt with charging so much.
The place I dealt with over a decade ago, the Dr. got visibly pissed i didn't buy an aid right then from her.
Found online she had a $2k markup on the one she was trying to sell me. On top of the bill for the exam and test
